Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan – RMA
The national currency is the Ngultrum which is pegged to the Indian Rupee.
The RMA issued a report in 2020 about the option CBDCs.
There is a strong digitization program in Bhutan which recently saw the RuPay card being issued for payments between India and Bhutan.
There are not any exact CBDC plans published but the general direction of innovation is being pursued.
